Only starting out in late 2008, FB is putting out some MASSIVE tunes. London, UK does come out with some of the best dubstep producers. Have a listen to I Can't Stop, and The Freestyles - Cracks Remix. Whoa.
Michael Woods has to be one of the hottest producers out there right now. From remixes to original tracks to mash-ups this dude is a straight up genius. DECEMBER 11th - TIME TORONTO!
Not sure how this track hasn't made it up here earlier. A team of Angello, AN21 and Max Vangeli will make any track fire. The original alone is unreal, but with their touch on it its some next level ishh!
NERVO - twin sisters becoming the most sought after song writers in pop working with Guetta, Pussycat Dolls, Ke$ha are starting to make headlines now with their own music. Hailing from Australia, being played all around the world these two ladies are ones to keep an eye and ear out in the near future. Check the TV ROCK & CHUCKIE remix as well....
Signed to Diplo's Label 'Mad Decent Records, the well established Dubstep artist, Rusko, releases his track called "Hold On". With the vocals provided by the incredible voice of Amber Coffman this tune was a must have for many DJ's. It was however the remix by Tom Stephan that garnered the attention, with DJ's such as Tiesto and Laidback Luke blasting it often in their sets.
This banger comes to us from DJ Chuckie's Mix Compilation 'Dirty Dutch Digital Volume 2'. This is one of many tracks that really brings the heat on any dancefloor. For anyone that is into the Dirty Dutch Sound, I would highly recommend checking out Chuckie's newest Compilation. His track with Gregori Klosman titled "Mutfakta" is also one worth having in the collection. Both have been attached.
Hardwell & Franky Rizardo teamed up to bring you this progressive house banger. With the lead synth building up to take this track to a higher level and a massive drop, this track will sure stand out in every set. With 'Asteroid' Hardwell is following up on his releases 'Voyage' and 'Molotov' to bring a new sound in progressive house making the bridge to other genres with more trancey influences. Asteroid was released on Hardwell's own imprint 'Revealed Recordings'.
Benny Benassi is hardened veteran of the dance community. If you looked at his tunes from five years ago, his style was extremely different. But as many good Producers and Dj's have done over the last decade, they have adapted and recreated their style. This Dirty dutch style tune is a killer on the floor, and is equipped with a remix from the incredible 'Autoerotique'. Both mixes have been attached.
Kim Fai has recently released an array of well-produced remixes and bootlegs and this is one of them. His bootleg of the Prodigy's well known tune 'Breathe' has been blasted by DJ's all across the globe and has received support from many notable artists in the dance community. It is speculated that his next release will be on Steve Angello's label, Size Records.
The Russian dance project has been around for a little while with their tune earlier in the year, Called Rave-O-Phonic which became well-known with the David Tort remix attached. Their next big project was this tune, which has received support from artists such as Axwell, Laidback Luke, David Guetta and many others. Subsequently the tune has become a release on Laidback Luke's label, Mixmash Records with remixes from Peace Treaty and Sam O'Neall. With a catchy melody and a big-room sound this is sure to be around for the next little while...
Michael Woods, the man of the moment, Fresh off the back of an incredible summer that has seen him packing out Toolroom Knights, Wonderland, a residency at Amnesia, and Ibiza. He is churning out anthem after anthem on Mau5trap, Armada and Ministry of Sound, with tracks such as this one with the well-known house producer, Funkagenda.
My good buddy Tim Rowsell aka Apollo told me about this track a few months ago. No one could get their hands on it but somehow he did. It is now out there and I am sure DJs will be dropping it constantly. If you have been to Tabu or Opus you must have heard this being dropped, especially around 2 AM. Enjoy!
2010 has been a huge year for Kaskade with numerous different productions with a wide range of artists. This another of the many mashups he has released lately on his soundcloud.
Till Tonight was an absolute bomb released all the way back in March, 2010 and was remixed by the likes of Ferry Corsten, MSTRKRFT, Chris Kaesar and many others. This remix by Peace Treaty was not released until a couple weeks ago but its a banger. For all those who love Dirty Dutch, they will enjoy this.
Another remix Michael Woods did for the British Electronic band 'Underworld' most well known for their track 'Born Slippy' released back in 1995. This is another showcase of Michael's incredible production skills. The ability to add his own touch, while keeping the original integrity of the track in place is one reason so many artists are after him to remix their songs.
The young sweedish born producer, Avicii yet again proves why he deserves to be at the top with his take on the Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams'. With the typical Tim Berg bassline and Daft Punk Style Vocals this tune has been received incredibly and been played by the likes of Tiesto, Ingrosso and Dirty South just to name a few...
Angger Dimas with an already very impressive record of productions and remixes, teams up with Static Revenger known most for his tune with Richard Vission "I Like That". With a remix from Lazrtag this tune is most definitely a banger
As promised another mega-tune from this Electronic music Wiz-Kid. The hard-hitting bass typical of Porter Robinson combined with the vocals of Sue Cho make for a must have tune...
Porter Robinson is one of the youngest producers I know BANGING tunes out. He is only 18 years old from North Carolina and this is one of his first major hits. Check back with the blog for some of his remixes shortly. Gets real good at the 1:40 mark.
This track is a re-post but Morillo has now come out with an official video for it. An all around feel good song with a matching video. To live the life of Morillo....Damn.
Kaskade who is slowly moving up my DJ chart does a great job mashing up these two songs. Wait till the vocals drop at the 2:00 minute mark. An all around feel good track.
Asked by Tiesto to open up for him on his Kaleidoscope world tour at a number of different shows across America, along with being asked by Bart B More to work on a track together, Harvard Bass has a lot to be proud of. This is just a little taste of what will be hitting Guelph on November 4th!
With his tunes being played out by some of the biggest names in the game, Congorock is becoming a well-known name in the dance community. When Laidback Luke was asked to pick his favourite tune of 2010 he chose the Congorock remix of 'One'. He said "I didn't think it was possible to top the original, but Congorock made it even more of a proper floor track to play out"
Under Deadmau5's label Mau5trap Recordings, Skrillex recently released an EP containing 9 different tracks. 8 of these 9 tracks are sitting in the Beatport top 10 at the moment, with 'Scary Monsters & Spirits' sitting right at the top. These kind of statistics are quite simply unheard of and mind blowing. Skrillex is definitely someone to watch in the future...
Zeds Dead (Toronto) are on the edge of exploding into the electronic music scene. Their original tracks and remixes are mind blowing - so good that Rusko even shouted them out via Twitter. Here is the Zeds Dead Takeover post. Do not miss these guys October 31st in Guelph for RISE FROM THE GRAVE. For More info www.latenites.ca
Newest release...Out a week ago and has over 200,000 Hits...
Yes there are so many remixes of this song. I got to give it to this Danger though because it is a lot different, and has an 80s feel to it. Danger out of Lyon, France got picked up simply by uploading songs to Myspace and being picked up from various labels. If you haven't heard of this guy before go youtube some videos...maddd.
If you haven't heard of Zeds Dead (especially if you are from Toronto) then you need to get out more. These guys have some of my favorite dubstep tracks out right now. Here is a new one that was featured on the GQ photoshoot. ZEDS DEAD IN GUELPH - OCTOBER 31st - RISE ABOVE THE GRAVE - MORE INFO: www.latenites.ca
My dude Daniel Berzen from What She Said told me about Bar9 a few months ago. I looked into them a bit more and they have a TON of bangers...Must check out this remix of Kickstart by Example...Here is the official music video, pretty intense
Came across this track when looking at the award winners from Ibiza. Butch won track of the season for his "No Worries." Catchy, I think it will take a few times for me to listen to this before I really like it.
Chris Lake & Marco Lys have teamed up to give us an amazing example of how you take a live instrument and combined it with house music. To this day I think Chris is one of the most underrated producers out there. Check It!!
I haven't heard much from Alex Gopher before this. The 1:00 mark blew my mind and I knew it was a Dada Life remix. You can feel their energy on this track.
Tiesto's Louder Than Boom is already a great track. Bart B More did his thing very nicely on the remix though. Ear Orgasms are back....Get ready for a lot more tracks!
For all those who were really becoming irritated with Tiesto's new cheesy style with some of these dumb pop songs, this remix is an excellent replacement. This remix done by First State frontman, Sander Van Dien certainly adds a lot more bang to the track and kind of minimizes the cheesy pop synths Tiesto uses here.
From Hardwell Himself "The 6th of September is the highly anticipated release of 'Hardwell - Molotov' and it's a banger! It has that unique Hardwell touch and can described best as a crossover prog-house tech-trance track. Already wide support from (prog)-house and trance dj's. The package comes with a deeper techy remix by Franky Rizardo and a peak time eletro styled remix by Apster. This is gonna be HUGE!"
18 months ago, Tim Berg (or Avicii) was quite literally no one in the dance music scene. In a little over a year he has become a very prominent house music producer, with a large array of remixes and singles out. This single was remixed by a wide variety artists. The remixes for 'Alcoholic' specifically have been done by Albin Myers, Dada Life, Dimitri Vegas and many others. The Dada Life one just the remix I enjoyed best (Often the case with the Dada guys)
Awesome remix by two very up and coming producers in the house music scene. Remix adds a much more bigroom feeling to the track and has been supported and played by a wide variety of artists.
